DESCRIPTION:Registered to Vote? Visit registertovote.ca.gov. The last day to register to vote online for November 3\, 2026\, General Election is October 19. If you miss this deadline\, you still have a chance to register and vote all the way up to Election Day with same day voter registration.\nMake your voice heard early. Return your ballot by mail as soon as you receive it. County elections officials will begin mailing ballots by October 5.\nBallots can be dropped off at a drop-off location\, county elections office\, or returned by mail. Secure ballot drop-off locations open on October 6.\nSkip the lines on Election Day. The first vote centers open for early in-person voting in all Voter’s Choice Act counties on October 24. In-person early voting locations throughout California will be open on Saturday\, October 31.\nTo ensure your ballot is postmarked by Election Day make sure to mail it at least 7 days in advance. Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before November 3.\nIf mailing a ballot on November 3\, get a manual postmark from a postal employee inside a United States Post Office.\nNovember 3 is the last day to vote in-person or return a ballot by 8:00 p.m. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.\n\nLearn more about your vote at cavotes.org/go-vote.
