Meet our Spring Interns from Sac State, Heidi and Jade!
We are excited to welcome two new talented interns to our League Family this month. Both interns will be supporting our voter education and advocacy outreach efforts across the state.
Welcome Heidi Torres, a Supplemental Instructor for the Peer & Academic Resource Center for Sacramento State University. An accomplished academic mentor and tutor, she has a passion for helping and empowering the student community. In her free time she enjoys cooking. Heidi plans to graduate from California State University of Sacramento this Spring 2022, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a minor in Spanish.
Welcome Jade Tacheny, a fourth year Political Science major at Sacramento State University. Jade is currently the President of the only Pre-Law organization on campus–Phi Alpha Delta International Pre-Law Fraternity and plans to become a Civil Rights lawyer. She is very passionate about equality and voting rights. A Dual citizen of the USA and Luxembourg, in her free time enjoys traveling, watching movies, and going to Disneyland.
