Many of us have extra time these days. What better way to spend it than with a book! In these trying times, it's also helpful to stay in community, even if we can't personally be with each other.
This year--the hundredth anniversary of women's suffrage--we're starting the LWVO Centennial Book Club under the leadership of Trisha Gorman, LWVO Centennial Committee. We'll be meeting over Zoom on the third Thursday of every other month. (Zoom, which is free for users, works with PCs/Macs and on iPhones/Androids.)
We will discuss the The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America (2018) by Richard Rothstein. A reminder that this book is available in paperback and a Kindle edition.
