DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters invites you to attend a Voter Information Program on Proposition 50 Oct. 12\, from 2-4 p.m. at the Downtown Library\, Santa Cruz for the Special Election on November 4. Voters will decide whether to replace current congressional maps with maps drawn by the Legislature. Tricia Webber\, Santa Cruz County Registrar of Voters\, will speak on how the redistricting process will affect voters in our county. \nThe League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization. League speakers will present information from both sides of the proposition and answer questions from the audience. Easy Voter Guides will be available.
