SUMMARY:City of Santa Maria Mayoral Candidates Forum
DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters of North Santa Barbara County (LWVNSBC) is excited to partner with several community organizations to provide non-partisan candidate forums this fall.LWVNSBC is partnering with the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce to moderate a forum for candidates running for City of Santa Maria Mayor.  The forum is on October 04\, 2024\, with Networking Social at 5:00 pm\, and the Forum from 5:30-7:30 pm. The forum will be held at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church\, 402 South Lincoln Street\, Santa Maria.There will be facilitated questions for the candidates\, along with time for the audience to ask questions. Refreshments and translation services will be provided.  Free to attend and all are welcome!Sponsored by: LWVNSBC\, Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce\, The Fund for Santa Barbara\, NAACP-Santa Maria Lompoc branch\, Santa Maria TImes.The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government\, working to increase understanding of public policy issues\, and influencing public policy through education and advocacy.
