National Register to Vote Day, Sept. 22

National Register to Vote Day is an annual event that falls within the Let’s All Vote week, which encourages citizens to register to vote in time for the November 3rd election. Usually the League has members staffing tables at libraries, the Vallejo Ferry terminal, post offices, and coffee shops, but this is not a usual year. This year we are improvising and will be hanging posters with voting information and QR codes in busy locations so that people are encouraged to register online.

The League of Women Voters Diablo Valley, in partnership with the Contra Costa County Libraries, are hosting "Community Conversations", a series of online panel discussions on timely topics relevant to Contra Costa County. 

The topic for the September conversation is 2020: Your Roadmap to Voting. Panelists will include experts from the Elections Office, Post Office, Board of Supervisors and the League of Women Voters.
