Meet our new intern, Bela Armstrong, a senior at Rio Americano High School in Sacramento, California. Bela is part of a four year academy called CIVITAS which focuses on civics and becoming involved in your community. Bela chose to intern at the League of Women Voters because she agrees that it is extremely important that everyone votes, no matter what gender, race, or income. In her free time she works at Rio Del Oro Racquet Club and plays lacrosse.
