Meet the League’s new intern, Nate Calderon of Sacramento,
California. Nate is a senior at Rio Americano High School and part of a four-year program called CIVITAS ,
which focuses on civic education and involvement in the community. I
chose to intern at LWVC because I want to help increase the number of
voters in California. In his spare time, Nate works at the Del Paso
Heights Golf Course and loves to play soccer.

Nate is working on several projects including updating the new Guide to California Government along with civic education and communications outreach duties.
