The LWV of North County San Diego is please to offer a Pros & Cons presentation via Zoom on Proposition 50 which will appear on the ballot of the special election taking place on November 4, 2025.

The proposition asks voters to decide whether to temporarily change California’s congressional voting districts through 2030 and whether the state should support independent redistricting commissions nationally. This non-partisan, objective presentation will provide a clear overview of the proposition, including its financial impact, its key supporters and opponents, as well as the amount of money that has been spent to support or oppose the measure.
