Daffodils are Mother Nature’s promise that sunny days will soon outnumber soggy -finally! Let’s  celebrate  the season together this Sunday, April 7,  at The Penn Valley Daffodil Run. You’ll get a cool VOTE T-shirt and have fun with fellow members and supporters. We’ll meet  at Wildflower Nursery, 10493 Spenceville Rd, Penn Valley, between 7 and 7:30 a.m. Post-run (or walk!) we’ll then enjoy a pancake breakfast hosted by the Penn Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.Be sure to register for the race at the link above. We also need a couple of volunteers to hand out voter registration forms, promote our League activities, and membership. Click here for more information and to sign up. Proceeds from the run support local schools, a scholarship for a Nevada Union High School senior. planting daffodil bulbs in our community, and Western Gateway Park.
