Overcoming fear and knowing that I can effect change.
What are you most proud of doing?
Serving as a Board member on the LWVC! Also, my volunteer work at a refugee camp.
What did you dream of doing when you were young?
Owning a farm with animals as pets only.
Who are your role models?
Anyone that has experienced or is experiencing adversity and manages with grace, dignity and kindness to overcome.
Brag about yourself. How has your strength and action influenced the League?
As a minority and relative newcomer to the League, I brought a different perspective that opened up new ways of thinking beyond the “League way”.
