Meet Your Public Official

Voter Girl

VOTER GIRL is a half-day workshop (AM or PM session) for Girl Scouts from Daisies to Ambassadors. Scouts earn Citizen Badges through participation in age-level projects on civic responsibility, voting and leadership. the League is presenting the workshop in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Northern California. 

VOTER GIRL is open to all Girl Scouts. REGISTRATION OPEN THROUGH SEPT. 28. Sessions are filling up fast.

District 2 Candidate Forum on Oct. 10
The second SB City Council Candidate Forum is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 pm at the Free Methodist Church on the Mesa at 1435 Cliff Drive. All five candidates who are running for Randy Rowse's seat (he is term-limited) will be there: Tavis Boise, Brian Campbell, Mike Jordan, Teri Jory, and Luis Esparza and will be asked their views on a number of issues of concern to voters. This Forum will also be live-streamed on Facebook @LWVSB and the video will be posted later on our website.

The Solano County Office Voter Registrar has asked the League of Women Voters for assistance with the Mock Elections they are holding at eight locations in the county to test voting machines. This event is open to the public. Please come and test the new voting machines and cast a ballot. It is still not too late to volunteer for this event.
