LWV Ventura County is collaborating with CSUCI Communications students in the Team-Building class to present a Civil Discourse event on Nov. 8, 2018, from 1:30 - 3:30 pm in the Petit Salon on CSUCI campus, 1 University Drive, Camarillo, CA  93012.  The topic of discussion will be "Privilege: Is it Earned or Given?"  Join us for a lively discussion and practice your conversation skills.  The students hope to "make the uncomfortable, comfortable."

Californians chose a Uhited State Senator, members of Congress, state officers, and voted on state measures. There were also local candidates and ballot measures. The League provided pros and cons on the ballot measures and candidate forums. See Voters Edge for information about the candidates and ballot measures.

The LWV California had recommendations on some of the state ballot measures.
