Come reflect on our immigration policies today through the lens of the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, which banned Chinese nationals from coming to the US and prevented Chinese nationals already here from becoming citizens.  The Act remained law for 60 years.

Eden United Church of Christ, Padres Unidos de Cherryland, and the Cherryland Computer Cafe invite the public to a 2018 HUSD Board of Trustees Candidates Forum, Wed, Oct 17, from 6 to 8pm in Oliver Hall on the Eden Church campus. A free community dinner will be provided at 5:30pm. A formal panel moderated by our leaders will be the main feature of the evening.
 Voter registration forms & online registration will be offered in 10 languages.
