LWVC Issues Statement on SB 4 — Regulation of Fracking
SB 4 (Pavley) was passed by the Legislature and sent to the Governor on September 11. This bill establishes a framework for regulating fracking and “acidization” of oil and gas wells that is likely the strongest in the country.
