Chynell Freeman is a first-generation UC Davis graduate with a degree in International Relations and Community Regional Development. While pursuing her degree, she developed her passion for public service by working with the Feminist Research Institute at UC Davis and interning with the State of California. Chynell is passionate about housing, transportation planning, sustainable development, and advancing racial and environmental justice and plans to continue working with communities to increase equity and access for all.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, learning new skills, and playing with her sweet pup.
