Yolanda Schonbrun is an organizer, presenter, and advocate dedicated to advancing democratic policies that support underserved and underrepresented communities. She has led advocacy forums focused on civil rights and the federal electoral system. Yolanda has also partnered with local community colleges and the Secretary of State’s Office to organize youth voter outreach initiatives.

Ms. Schonbrun is an experienced leader within the League of Women Voters (LWV), having served on the Boards of Directors for the League of Women Voters of Oakland, Napa County, and the Bay Area. She has held leadership roles including Vice President and currently serves as Co-President. Throughout her tenure, she has chaired and co-chaired a wide range of LWV portfolios focused on civil and immigrant rights, criminal justice, program planning, public education, and voter rights services in low-participation communities.

Yolanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Teaching Credential from Sonoma State University, as well as a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum Development from California State University, East Bay.

Yolanda lives in Napa and enjoys gardening, reading, and participating in book clubs. She also loves to travel, having visited destinations on multiple continents.
